Are you wanting to dive deeper into the world of acting? This class will explore different acting styles, monologue, and scene work. Take your acting to the next level!
This class will meet weekly on Mondays for 10 weeks starting Monday, September 7, 2026. The final class will be on Monday, November 9, 2026.
Our middle school studios for 7th-12th graders teach both introductory and advanced theatre techniques, and provide an in-depth look at the theatrical production process. Classes will have a showcase at the end of the semester of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.

Set in the style of a musical revue, students will learn introductory singing and dancing techniques, and will perform songs and dances from the hit musical, Seussical!
This class will meet weekly on Mondays for 10 weeks starting Monday, September 7, 2026. The final class will be on Monday, November 9, 2026.
Our 10-week technique classes for 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious and provide intermediate-level performance opportunities for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process. Classes at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.

"What, like it's hard!?" This class will develop vocal technique, an advanced musical theatre dance vocabulary, stage presence, and collaborative skills while working toward a final class performance of songs from the hit musical, Legally Blonde.
This class will meet weekly on Tuesdays for 10 weeks starting Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The final class will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2026.

Our 10-week classes for energetic youngsters continue to develop teamwork, self-expression, and imagination, while introducing acting techniques and stage movement skills through a specific fun setting or theme. Classes at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.

Audition Series: Musical Theatre (3rd-12th grade)

Our Audition Series workshops are a great way to experience the audition process prior to auditions. At each workshop, students will participate in a mock audition and receive individualized guidance on audition techniques and how to "get that role!"
PREPARING FOR THE WORKSHOP
- Please prepare a 16-32 bar cut of musical theatre song
- Memorization is highly encouraged in order to fully work on your song at the workshop
- An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a copy of your sheet music for the accompanist.
- If you do not have a song, options will be emailed to you after registration. You may also pick up songs at the SYT offices.
AGE REQUIREMENT
- This workshop is open to youth in the 3rd-12th grade.
REGISTRATION
- Pre-registration is required.
- To ensure that students have enough time to prepare their material in advance for the workshop, registration closes at 12pm on the Wednesday before the workshop.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
- There are no refunds or make-up sessions for missing the workshop.
