Bluey and Friends (Rising k4-k5)

Rising K4-K5 students must be fully potty-trained and able to use the bathroom by themselves. SYT staff may not change diapers nor enter the bathroom with a child.
Join Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli for an adventure that you’ll never forget!
Our one-week camps for rising K4-K5 explore creative play, music and art, while learning acting and storytelling techniques. Classes at this age are intended to help ignite the imagination and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range, but rather a sharing of activities.
Crew Crash Course (Rising 7th-12th)
June 1st-5th

This camp will provide a crash course of crewing by learning what goes into the set, costumes, props, lights, and sound of the rising 3rd-6th Production Camp running the same week. Taught by the designers of both the Spartanburg Youth Theatre and the Sprtanburg Little Theatre shows, you will get to learn what goes into taking a show from a script to the stage!
This Behind the Scenes Class will design and crew the technical elements of the rising 3rd-6th grade production camp. There will be a performance of the show on the final day of camp.
Production Camp: The Trial of the Big, Bad Wolf (Rising 3rd-6th)

This performance camp provides an opportunity to explore how we put a show together from the script to the stage in one week! This year, this camp will work on The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf by Joseph Robinette.
Our one-week camps for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious and provide intermediate-level performance camps for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process. Production camps at this age range will include a shortened performance of a full-length play.
Group Voice (Rising 9th-12th)

Does your child want to take their love of singing to the next level? We are excited to offer our first ever group voice lesson! Students will learn introductory musical theatre vocal techniques, build their repertoire, and learn some audition tips.
Our weeklong vocal technique camps for rising 9th-12th graders introduce voice techniques for those who are curious and provide intermediate-level strengthening opportunities for those who are ready for the next step of the musical theatre process.

Point those toes and tap those feet as you explore the different styles of musical theatre dance! From ballet, to tap, to jazz, find your rhythm and get more comfortable dancing onstage!
Our 1-week middle school studios for 7th-12th graders provide advanced theatre techniques, and an in-depth look at the theatrical production process. Some classes at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.
Devising Drama (Rising 5th-12th)

Devised Theatre is a method of theatre creation in which the performing ensemble creates the script through collaboration. It allows for experimentation and exploration, as well as a chance to develop performance, writing, and teamwork skills.
This weeklong camp will explore the idea of what home means to you. Stitching together everyone's created stories, the ensemble will create a show that will be performed on the last day of camp.
