Musical Theatre: Mean Girls (Rising 7th-12th)- AM SESSION

June 22nd-26th

9:00 am-12:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Instructors: Mary Thalassinos and Mary Ashton Garrett

Set in the style of a musical revue, students will learn introductory singing and dancing techniques through songs and choreography from the hit Broadway show and movie Mean Girls.

Our one-week camps for rising 7th-12th graders provide intermediate theatre training and performance opportunities. This camp ends with a performance showcase for friends and family to enjoy!

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $62.50, paid weekly.

Create your own greedy goblin, beautiful bard, or wonderful wizard! This class will explore the theatrical technique of character building through the world of Dungeons and Dragons! 

Our one-week camps for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious and provide intermediate-level performance camps for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process.

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $62.50, paid weekly.

Our one-week camps for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious and provide intermediate-level performance camps for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process. Camps at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $62.50, paid every two weeks.

Treasure Hunt! (Rising K4-K5)- AM Session

Instructor: Mary Ashton Garrett 

Rising K4-K5 students must be fully potty-trained and able to use the bathroom by themselves. SYT staff may not change diapers nor enter the bathroom with a child.

X marks the spot! Explore character creation and imaginative world building in this fun class.

Our one-week camps for rising K4-K5 explore creative play, music and art, while learning acting and storytelling techniques. Classes at this age are intended to help ignite the imagination and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range, but rather a sharing of activities.

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 1 payment of $55.00, paid every four weeks.

How I Became A Pirate! (Rising 1st-2nd)

Ahoy, Mateys! Join Jeremy Jacob and his new pirate crew while they dig for treaure, sing sea shanties, and live wild and free! This class uses content from the delightful book, How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long. 

Our one-week camps for rising 1st-2nd graders continue to develop teamwork, self-expression, and imagination, while introducing acting techniques and stage movement skills through a specific fun setting or theme. Classes at this age are intended to introduce young children to the concepts of theatre and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range, but rather a sharing of activities.
