Daring Detectives (Rising 1st-2nd)

Use your magnifying glass as you look for clues to solve the SYT Mystery!
Our one-week camps for rising 1st-2nd graders continue to develop teamwork, self-expression, and imagination, while introducing acting techniques and stage movement skills through a specific fun setting or theme. Classes at this age are intended to introduce young children to the concepts of theatre and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range, but rather a sharing of activities.
Musical Theatre: Beauty and the Beast (Rising 3rd-6th)

Set in the style of a musical revue, students will learn introductory singing and dancing techniques through songs and choreography from the hit Disney film and Broadway show Beauty and the Beast.
Our one-week camps for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious, and provide intermediate-level performance camps for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process. Camps at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.
Behind the Scenes: Directing (Rising 7th-12th)

Have you ever wanted to learn what goes into directing a scene, a play, or a musical? Take a look behind the scenes and try your hand at directing!
Our Behind the Scenes one-week camps for rising 7th-12th graders provide intermediate theatre teach, design, and directing training that we don't typically cover in classes. This particular camp will provide the students with a chance to direct their classmates in scenes and end with a showcase of their work.
A Bad Case of Stripes (Rising K4-K5)

Rising K4-K5 students must be fully potty-trained and able to use the bathroom by themselves. SYT staff may not change diapers nor enter the bathroom with a child.
Follow along as Camilla Cream discoveres the power of being herself, and don't forget to eat your lima beans!
Our one-week camps for rising K4-K5 explore creative play, music and art, while learning acting and storytelling techniques. Classes at this age are intended to help ignite the imagination and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range, but rather a sharing of activities.

For students with relevant acting experience through an SYT class/camp or elsewhere, this camp will film and produce The Bad Seed, the next storybook in SYT’s virtual series Storybook Live!
Application required (use link above). If you qualify, you will be emailed instructions to enroll within two weeks of submitting your application. A follow-up audition may be required based off application.
Making Movie Magic (Rising 7th-12th)

Lights! Camera! Action! This all day camp will give you a crash course in the film industry, technique, and lingo. You will spend the week making your own movie that is sure to receive rave reviews! The final movie will be sent to all camp participants 1-2 weeks after camp is over.
Our one-week camps for rising 7th-12th graders provide intermediate theatre training and performance opportunities. This particular camp will not have a performance at the end of the week, but rather the students will spend the entire week filming their movie.
Superheroes & Villains (Rising 1st-2nd)
