Actor's Studio: Musical Theatre- Application

For students who have had previous experience onstage, Actor’s Studio is an advanced course designed for intermediate to advanced actors looking to hone their craft and prepare for the professional world. Students interested must submit a pre-screen application using the link above.
Pre-requisite: Intermediate level of theatre concepts and vocabulary and/or previous stage experience, plus pre-screen application.
Application required (use link above). If you qualify, you will be emailed instructions to enroll within one week of submitting your application. A follow-up audition may be required.
This class will meet weekly on Wednesdays for 12 weeks starting Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Class will not be held the week of April 7-11, 2025.
The class performance will be on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 5pm.
The final class will be a wrap-up and reflection session on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the same time class is usually held.
Our 12-week teen studios for rising 10th-12th graders provide advanced theatre techniques and training for young actors interested in pursuing a professional theatre career. Classes at this age range typically include a performance of skills learned during class, often through monologues or scenes from plays.
Musical Theatre: Footloose & Hairspray (7th-12th)
4:00-5:15pm, Mondays starting February 24, 2025

Everybody cut loose and say good moring to Baltimore! This class will develop vocal technique, an advanced musical theatre dance vocabulary, stage presence, and collaborative skills while working toward a final class performance of songs from the Broadway musicals Footloose and Hairspray!
This class will meet weekly on Wednesdays for 10 weeks starting Monday, February 24, 2025. The final class will be on Monday, May 5, 2025. We will not have class the week of April 7th-11th.
Our 10-week middle school studios for 7th-12th graders provide advanced theatre techniques, and an in-depth look at the theatrical production process. Some classes at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.
Musical Theatre: Wonka & Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (3rd-6th)
4:00-5:15pm, Tuesdays starting February 25, 2025

You've got a golden ticket! Dance and sing to music from the hit musicals, Wonka and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Set in the style of a musical revue, students will learn introductory singing and dancing techniques.
This class will meet weekly on Tuesdays for 10 weeks starting Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The final class will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. We will not have class the week of April 7th-11th.
Our 10-week technique classes for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious, and provide intermediate-level performance opportunities for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process. Classes at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.

Are you interested in acting but not quite sure where to start? We’ve got you covered! You will leave the week with a strong foundation in stage performance and a newfound sense of self-expression.
This class will meet weekly on Thursdays for 10 weeks starting Thursday, February 27, 2025. The final class will be on Thursday, May 8, 2025. We will not have class the week of April 7th-11th.
