For students with relevant acting experience through an SYT class/camp or elsewhere, this camp will film and produce Grumpy Monkey by Suzanne Lang in SYT’s virtual series Storybook Live!
Application required (use link above). If you qualify, you will be emailed instructions to enroll within two weeks of submitting your application. A follow-up audition may be required based off application
Audition Techniques (Rising 3rd-6th)
July 14th-18th
1:00-4:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Get ready for your next audition! This summer is the perfect time to work on your craft and get audition ready. This camp will coach you on audition etiquette and help you pick out material that is perfect for you!
**For this particular camp, there will not be an in-person final performance at the end of camp week, but rather each child will film an audition video that will be sent to the parents.**
Our one-week camps for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious, and provide intermediate-level performance camps for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process.
Taylor Swift Lip Sync (Rising 3rd-6th)- AM Session

Have a summer to remember! Channel your inner Swiftie Superstar in this exciting class! Dive into your favorite Taylor Swift song, and build your confidence in the process.
Our one-week camps for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious, and provide intermediate-level performance camps for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process. Camps at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.
Wonky Donkey (Rising K4-K5)
July 21st-25th
9:00 am-11:00 am, Monday-Friday

Rising K4-K5 students must be fully potty-trained and able to use the bathroom by themselves. SYT staff may not change diapers nor enter the bathroom with a child.
Based off the popular book by Craig Smith about an endearing spunky, hanky-panky, cranky, stinky, dinky, lanky, honky-tonky, winky wonky donkey!
Our one-week camps for rising K4-K5 explore creative play, music and art, while learning acting and storytelling techniques. Classes at this age are intended to help ignite the imagination and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range, but rather a sharing of activities.

Fabulous Fairy Tales! (Rising 1st-2nd)

Our one-week camps for rising 1st-2nd graders continue to develop teamwork, self-expression, and imagination, while introducing acting techniques and stage movement skills through a specific fun setting or theme. Classes at this age are intended to introduce young children to the concepts of theatre and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range, but rather a sharing of activities.
Musical Theatre: Wicked (Rising 7th-12th)- AM SESSION
July 28th-August 1st
9:00 am-12:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Set in the style of a musical revue, students will learn introductory singing and dancing techniques through songs and choreography from the hit Broadway show and movie Wicked.
Our one-week camps for rising 7th-12th graders provide intermediate theatre training and performance opportunities. This camp ends with a performance showcase for friends and family to enjoy!
