Musical Theatre: Matilda (3rd-6th)
with Mary Thalassinos

4:00-5:15pm, Wednesdays starting February 22, 2023
Instructors: Alexa Cotran & Mary Thalassinos
Matilda and the revolting children will trump the Trunchbull this spring all as you dance and sing to music from the hit Broadway show, and recent Netflix film, Matilda. Set in the style of a musical revue, students will learn introductory singing and dancing techniques.
This class will meet weekly on Wednesdays for 10 weeks starting Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The final class will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Class will not meet the week of Apr 3-7, 2023.
Our 10-week technique classes for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious, and provide intermediate-level performance opportunities for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process. Some classes at this age range will include a performance showcase of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.

Acting Foundations (3rd-6th)

Are you interested in acting but not quite sure where to start? We’ve got you covered! This class will build self-confidence while developing physical, vocal, and creative skills for the stage. You will leave the class with a strong foundation in stage performance and a newfound sense of self-expression.
This class will meet weekly on Thursdays for 10 weeks starting Thursday, February 23, 2023. The final class will be on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Class will not meet the week of Apr 3-7, 2023.
